“I’m an experienced midwife who loves her work and life. My goal is to make you and your whanau feel welcome, well informed and supported”.
Midwife: Tui Lee
Tui is a midwife with 14 years experience working with whanau. She is based at Raukura Hauora O Tainui and can help you access early pregnancy care, assistance to find a midwife and offer wrap around support on the Te Paa Harakeke service.
“As a wahine, maamaa and passionate midwife, I look at caring for you as more than just a job. Whether you are a first time mum or having your third baby, helping you on your birthing journey is the greatest privilege.
My focus is to provide safe midwifery care, to support you and your whaanau to have a positive experience. I bring a balanced approach of professionalism and warmth to your care.
An essential part of my role is to provide you with information about your pregnancy and your options, so that you will know what to expect and can make informed choices for yourself and your baby.
Most pregnancies are straightforward and uncomplicated, but there are times when extra care is needed. I have experience working collaboratively with GP’s, Waikato Hospital Obstetric Team, and support agencies if and when needed to ensure you’re always in the best hands and supported to reach your unlimited potential. I am happy to help start your care and then assist you to find a midwife for the rest of your pregnancy, birth and post birth cares”.
